24.12.2004 We are pleased to announce that the next major public appearance for the Autodelta GT Super will be at the Autosport International Motor Show, at the Birmingham NEC from 13th - 16th January

Autodelta GT Super

Last year we presented the Autodelta 147 GTA AM 3.7 at the prestigious motorsport-orientated Autosport International Motor Show, just a month after it received its world premiere at the MPH03 Motor Show. Now, a year on, it is the turn of the Autodelta GT Super, which itself was unveiled only last month at the MPH04 extravaganza.

The Autodelta GT Super will, next month, form part of the 'Road & Track Gallery', presented by EVO magazine, at the show. The 175mph 320bhp Alfa Romeo 3.2-litre V6-powered rocket will rightly take its place amongst the other contemporary sports cars that will make up this high-performance, crowd-pulling, gallery.

As the name suggests, the Autodelta GT Super is based on the stunning Bertone-designed Alfa GT Coupe. Whilst winning over the hearts of Alfa Romeo enthusiasts worldwide, this gorgeous Italian Gran Turismo has seen successful sales across Europe and other global markets, providing Autodelta with an excellent excuse (if one is needed) to develop an even more potent version.

The name 'Super' hints at the technology that has been applied by Autodelta, namely a specially developed Rotrex supercharger that draws in enough air to provide the 3.2 V6 engine with a total of 320 bhp @ 6,300 rpm.

The additional power of the Autodelta GT Super is matched by the exclusive Creativestudio-penned bodywork, which includes new bumpers and a subtle boot spoiler. However for this motor show, which combines the cream of racing and sports cars with an atmosphere of sheer razzmatazz, we will preview an optional, much more aggressive, new boot spoiler. In the words of company boss, Jano Djelalian, this will see the car, "more appropriately dressed for the occasion."

The Autosport International Motor Show, is the motor racing and rallying industry's annual showpiece event. More than one million square feet will be filled with all things motorsport, including a unique F1 Racing Car Gallery with the entire grid displayed in steel cradles at 90 degrees, and will also include the first public appearance of the Red Bull F1 car, presented in the interim test car livery. The show will be opened by Formula One stars, David Coulthard and Mark Webber.

The Autodelta GT Super will be on display at the 2005 Autosport International, at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, from 13th - 16th January, as part of the 'EVO Road & Track Gallery', and the Autodelta staff will be on hand to discuss this car, and our other models, with you.
