03.06.2008 AUTODELTA APPOINT SAM VAN LINGEN AS AGENT FOR THE NETHERLANDS

Autodelta is delighted to announce that it has appointed Sam van Lingen, The Netherland’s largest and oldest Alfa Romeo dealership group, as its official agent for the country. Sam van Lingen becomes a full Autodelta agent, with immediate effect, and with exclusive responsibility for the whole of The Netherlands.

Sam van Lingen will carry out all the activities of a full Autodelta agent as well as stocking a wide range of products from the Autodelta Sportline and GTA Racing ranges’. Sam van Lingen technicians have been Autodelta factory trained. In line with full Autodelta agents’ Sam van Lingen will undertake bespoke conversions of the J-range cars.

Sam van Lingen has always put performance motoring at the core of its philosophy as it strives to remain true to the ideals of the Alfa Romeo brand, and its Savali tuning division has a strong reputation in The Netherlands. An introduction to Autodelta was made when the dealer group was chosen as a service location on the ‘Autodelta European Tour’ in 2006. Due to the complication of increasing power of the current generation Alfa Romeo JTS direct injection petrol engines Sam van Lingen, soon afterwards began working with Autodelta.

Sam van Lingen recognises Autodelta as the premier global aftermarket Alfa Romeo design and tuning firm, and also the only company that offers practical solutions to improving the power and dynamics of Alfa Romeo’s latest breed of direct injection engines, to answer customer demands worldwide.

From the starting point, and following the satisfaction the JTS upgrades brought to its customers, Sam van Lingen has rapidly progressed to offering a comprehensive range of Autodelta upgrades. These upgrades include Autodelta’s bespoke supercharging systems, all of which are installed exclusively on site in the state-of-the-art Sam van Lingen workshops located in Haarlem and Utrecht. The supercharger upgrade programme at Sam van Lingen is overseen by Autodelta engineers’ who are specially shuttled in from the Autodelta HQ in London.

The Sam van Lingen and Autodelta relationship has become a highly successful venture, and has resulted in Sam van Lingen marketing a range of high-performance Alfa Romeos through its own Savali performance division in The Netherlands under the ‘powered by Autodelta’ brand name. The latest step has is marked by their appointment as an authorised Autodelta dealer, with exclusive responsibility for The Netherlands.
