In order to offer true all-season improved luxury and comfort for the Alfa Romeo Spider, Autodelta decided to develop an exclusive, highly durable Detachable Hardtop. Since its introduction in 2000 this hardtop has been a very popular item in the Autodelta range. Now we introduce a new version which has been refined and improved in all areas.

The Autodelta hardtop utilises a reinforced bodyshell which is made from a state-of-the-art sandwich construction, designed by our engineers for maximum safety and strength, yet making sure that the hardtop is light enough to be attached and removed swiftly and with ease. The new Autodelta Detachable Hardtop has further enhanced stiffness to improve chassis rigidity and negate the Spider's inherent scuttle shake. Careful attention to the hardtop's finish and sealing action allows for very highly effective thermal and noise insulation, while a tinted rear window panel with demister improves visibility.

The Autodelta Spider Detachable Hardtop has been carefully designed to emphasise the elegant lines of this legendary Italian thoroughbred, transforming it into a stunning sports coupé that will turn heads wherever it is seen. The Autodelta Detachable Hardtop features the Alfa Romeo badge embedded on either side.

The Autodelta Detachable Hardtop is Alfa Romeo colour-coded to achieve a perfect match and finish and increases the resale value of the Spider. Fitting the highly durable hardtop allows the owner to then store the fabric roof, thus protecting it from harsh winter weather. The Autodelta Detachable Hardtop, which costs £1,750+VAT (plus a one-off £150+VAT fitting charge) and is also offered with an optional storage cover, buggy and stand.
