enthuse about our latest bespoke models On the other side of the globe, the Australian and New Zealand press have been quick to enthuse about our latest bespoke offerings: the Autodelta 156 GTA AM 3.7 and the Autodelta GT Super, both of which were introduced to widespread acclaim during the second half of 2004. The highly respected Sydney Daily Telegraph, circulation: 400,000, featured the two new Alfa Romeo-based models in its 17th December 2004 issue. Writing in the 'Automotive' section, Jaedene Hudson began, "Autodelta, the legendary name that produces hot versions of Alfa Romeo's fastest cars, has now added the 156 and GT to its range." > Sydney Daily Telegraph feature: open in PDF Meanwhile, across the Tasman Sea in New Zealand, the Bay of Plenty district's Eastern Bay News, circulation: 19,500, described the two cars in the 13th January 2005 issue as "extreme versions" before going on to say "The latest Autodelta work includes an interpretation of what a GTA version would be like of the latest 156 if such a car was to come out of the factory, and a version of the GT for those owners whom 184kW is not enough." > Eastern Bay New feature: open in PDF Staying in the beautiful Tauranga region of New Zealand, one week earlier, on 7th January 2005 the Bay of Plenty Times, circulation: 23,500, also carried a double-page spread in its supplement featuring the Autodelta 156 GTA AM 3.7 and Autodelta GT Super, this time under the title of 'Going to Extremes'. > Bay of Plenty Times feature: open in PDF Finally, switching to the South Island of New Zealand, and just before Christmas, the popular Timaru Herald in Canterbury, featured the two cars in its motoring supplement of 18th December 2004, under the title of 'New Ultimate Alfas', going on to describing the 156 GTA AM as offering "epic power" and "breathtaking acceleration", while they enthused over the GT Super's "deadly quick driving response and higher performance levels." |
